This delightful two storey cottage is a traditional Irish Cottage over 100 years old. Sleeping up to 4 visitors, it offers its guests the charm of the old world. It is quaint but very comfortable, situated on a half acre site. Truly the ideal location to enjoy the peace & tranquility of the Kenmare countryside. THE COTTAGE:Situated at Gortalinny which is 2 miles from Kenmare town (past Sheen Falls Lodge) this cottage sleeps 4 in 2 x double bedrooms. There is 1 x main bathroom upstairs with shower, toilet & wash hand basin (no bath) The living area is very comfortable with a TV & cosy open fire and the kitchen is fully equipped. The private garden is the perfect place to relax & enjoy the countryside. There are hill & mountain walks all around the house. Wild ducks, pigeons, pheasants, owls, grouse and woodcock are often seen there. Along with deer & rabbits. It really is a wildlife haven. Timber, coal & free range eggs are supplied. Electricity and heating is included in the rates.
